Airbus Eurocopter EC130– Single Turbine Engine

The EC130® is a light single-engine helicopter including all the latest technology and a roomy modular cabin that can accommodate 1 pilot plus 6 passengers and provides outstanding visibility because of its wide unobstructed cabin.

The EC130, with its Fenestron tail rotor, is one of the quietest helicopters in the skies, setting the standard for operations worldwide. Its very low sound level is 7 dB below the ICAO requirement and remains quieter than the most restrictive limits defined by the Grand Canyon National Park, reducing third party and livestock impact during low level survey operations.

The EC130 offers an outstanding survey platform with an unobstructed view for all crew.  The left hand sliding door allows for filming and photography operations without the need to land and/or change the aircraft configuration.  It features a cargo swing incorporating an onboard systems hydraulic cargo hook with a maximum lift of 1166kg.
